1.  Fed the strap through the slot in the middle of the ratchet handle as shown

2.  Place the hooks at either end of straps onto desired holding position.
Pull up the slack on the strap until the
strap is just loose.
Make sure the straps are not twisted. 
Ratchet up until strap is tight, making sure you have at
least three turns of strap around the centre chamber.

3.  Push handle down onto strap to lock tie down.
Tie down excess strap to stop it flapping around.

4.  To release tie down, push quick release lever down.

5. With release lever down open the ratchet handle fully, thus releasing the locking mechanism on ratchet handle.
Lift the complete unit, this releases the strap and you can remove the holding hooks from their position.

ALWAYS INSPECT STRAPS PRIOR TO USE. IF DAMAGED IN ANY WAY DO NOT USE!
AREA OF ATTACHMENT TO TRAILER OR VEHICLE MUST BE SUFFICIENT STRENGTH TO HOLD THE LOAD.
FOR MAXIMUM STRENGTH, HOOKS AND BUCKLES MUST BE INLINE WITH DIRECTION OF PULL, AVOID TWISTING OF WEBBING.

HOW TO USE A RATCHET TIE DOWN
